Southeast Asia-Wide Visas Coming! Posted on February 21, 2012 by Tov The long discussed concept of a Southeast Asia wide visa looks one step closer as this month Thailand and Cambodia have stated that they will shortly begin issuing a joint single visa. This will be followed by Vietnam and Laos coming on board by the end of 2012, and eventually all the member countries of ASEAN will join the plan. (The other ASEAN countries are Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and the Philippines). This has been an idea we have long been waiting for, and will of course make multi-country travel throughout the region far easier.
